This is why a new East Cobb business is rushing to help homeless students

A new business in East Cobb is stepping up to address a hidden crisis in the local community. Big Frog Custom T-Shirts, which recently opened its doors in the area, has launched a fundraiser called "Room for Everyone" to support homeless students in the Cobb County School District. The initiative aims to provide essential items like bedding, toiletries, and school supplies to students who lack stable housing.

The owner of the shop said the idea came from a simple observation: many families in the area are struggling, and students are often the ones who suffer in silence. "We wanted to do something that would make a real difference," the owner explained. "These kids are trying to focus on school, but they don't have a place to call home. We can help change that."

The fundraiser invites customers to donate directly at the store or contribute through a partnership with local shelters and school counselors. In exchange for donations, Big Frog is offering custom-designed T-shirts that read "Room for Everyone" as a symbol of community support.

The response has been strong so far, with dozens of residents stopping by to drop off supplies or purchase shirts. The business plans to run the campaign through the end of the month, with all proceeds going to the Cobb County School District's homeless student program. Organizers hope the effort will raise awareness about the issue and encourage other local businesses to get involved. For now, the small shop is proving that even a new business can make a big impact.
