I Built a 7-Figure Business Teaching People How to Engineer AI Prompts. My Advice Usually Boils Down to 3 Sentences.

Mark Kashef did not set out to build a seven-figure business. He started with a simple Fiverr post offering to teach people how to engineer AI prompts. That post, he says, was the spark that ignited an agency. But when people ask him for the secret, his advice usually boils down to just three sentences.

First, Kashef argues that most users treat AI like a search engine. They type a short question and expect a perfect answer. Instead, he says you must treat the AI like a smart but forgetful intern. You need to give it context, a role, and a clear format for the output. Second, he stresses that prompt engineering is not about magic words. It is about iterative testing. You write a prompt, see what breaks, and fix it. The best prompts are the result of constant small tweaks.

Third, and most importantly, Kashef believes that the real value is not in the prompt itself but in the system around it. A single good prompt is a trick. A repeatable process that produces consistent, high-quality results is a business. His agency now helps companies build those systems. He does not sell a secret formula. He sells a method for thinking. And that method, boiled down to three sentences, turned a side gig into a seven-figure operation.
