Everyone told me that long-distance relationships are hard and not worth the effort. I’m glad I didn’t listen. It all started with a memorable 14-hour date with a coworker who was preparing to move to another country. That day was filled with laughter, deep conversations, and an undeniable connection that neither of us could ignore.
Despite the geographical distance, we decided to give our relationship a chance. We navigated the challenges of time zones, missed calls, and the longing that comes with being apart. Each video call and text message strengthened our bond, proving that love knows no boundaries.
Over time, we learned to appreciate the little moments, finding joy in our shared experiences, even if they were virtual. Eventually, our commitment led us to a beautiful conclusion: we got married. Our journey has shown that with dedication and love, long-distance relationships can flourish into something truly special.
