2Chamber names its Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business

The Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2026 roster of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business, recognizing leaders across education, healthcare, and trade. Among those honored are Marielena DeSanctis, chancellor of the Colorado Community College System; Terri Jackson, executive director and co-founder of the African American Trade Association; and Emily Trujillo, chief operating officer at HCA HealthONE Centennial.

The full Class of 2026 will be celebrated at a fundraising gala scheduled for October 2. The annual list highlights women who have demonstrated significant influence in their industries and communities, often serving as mentors and advocates for economic growth. Selection criteria include professional achievement, leadership impact, and contributions to advancing opportunities for women in business.

This year's honorees represent a cross-section of Colorado's economy, from higher education and trade policy to hospital administration. The Chamber noted that the group reflects the state's growing diversity in executive leadership. The event is expected to draw business leaders, elected officials, and nonprofit executives from across the region.
