Edinburg Veterans Day Parade Entry Deadline is Oct. 29th

October 20, 2026 - 21:41

The City of Edinburg has announced that entries for its annual Veterans Day Parade must be submitted by October 29. The event honors past and present members of the U.S. Armed Forces and will take place along Closner Boulevard, known locally as the Boulevard of Heroes, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, starting at 10 a.m.

Organizers are inviting schools, civic groups, businesses, marching bands, and individual participants to join the procession. The parade offers the community a chance to recognize veterans and active service members for their contributions. Floats, vehicles, and walking units are all welcome, provided entry forms are completed before the deadline.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the November event and to line the route in support of those who have served. Further details on entry requirements and participation guidelines are available through the city. The deadline of October 29 gives groups roughly two weeks to finalize their plans and submit the necessary paperwork.
