Carolina Country Music Fest boosts vendors’ business

Carolina Country Music Fest boosts vendors’ business

The Carolina Country Music Festival is doing more than just packing Myrtle Beach with fans. For local vendors, the annual event has turned into a major financial windfall. Small business owners and food truck operators report that the festival weekend often brings in revenue that rivals what they might earn in an entire month during the slower season.

From handmade jewelry to barbecue and cold drinks, vendors set up along the festival route to capture the attention of the massive crowd. Many say the exposure goes beyond just ticket sales. Tourists who discover a local shop or a unique food item during the festival often return later in the summer or follow the business on social media.

One vendor who sells custom hats said the festival crowd is unlike any other event in the area. The energy is high, and people are ready to spend. Another food vendor noted that while the weekend is exhausting, the payoff makes it worth the long hours of prep work.

City officials also point out that the festival helps support the local economy in a direct way. Hotels, restaurants, and gas stations all see a boost, but the vendors on the ground feel it most immediately. For many, the Carolina Country Music Festival has become a key date on the calendar, not just for the music but for the business it brings.
